In the corporate world, it's often means a company pays a fee in exchange for exposure to a certain audience which will ultimately result in customer acquisition or retention and increased sales. Successful sponsorships require an alignment of goals and benefits between the nonprofit and the corporation. In this session, Shiree will discuss different types of sponsorships; other trends in corporate philanthropy that may affect partnerships with nonprofits, and how nonprofits can provide benefits that companies will value.
